What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device, or similar storage such as localStorage. They can remember a choice or count a page view. They are not a visit study. They do not watch a portal on a factory floor.

Types we use

Essential. We store your Accept or Reject choice in localStorage under the key portalPulseBase_cookieConsent so the banner does not return on every page load. That storage is needed to honour the choice. Rejecting analytics does not block pages, forms, or the menu.

Analytics. Only if you Accept, we may set a first-party analytics cookie to see which pages on portal-pulsebase.digital are read. We do not use this to follow you across other websites. If you Reject, we do not set those analytics cookies.

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change a later choice, clear site data for portal-pulsebase.digital in your browser, then reload; the banner will return. You can also block cookies in the browser settings for this site. Blocking essential storage may make the banner reappear each visit; it will not stop you reading the studies or sending a note.

Third-party cookies

Images may load from Unsplash or Pexels. Those hosts have their own notices. Typefaces load from Google Fonts. We do not control cookies those hosts may set. If you reject analytics on our banner, we still cannot command a third-party image host. Using the site without those images would mean a text-only copy, which this site does not offer.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting analytics cookies does not hide rates, studies, or the contact form. It only means we will not count which journal piece you opened. Disabling all cookies and localStorage in the browser may reset the banner and, in some browsers, affect form autofill. The mock form reply still depends on a working network request, not on analytics cookies.
